Patterns Inspired by Nature, Crafted for Life

Jasmin Thome

Hi, I am Jasmin – mom of two boys, country girl from the Westerwald region in Germany, and passionate illustrator and surface pattern designer. My designs are born between forest walks and family life: grounded, detail-oriented, and crafted with genuine joy.

My patterns start life by hand with watercolours – full of the vitality that no digital tool can replicate: pigment textures, colour gradients, the flow of water on paper. I then digitalise my work using Procreate and Affinity – and this is where a second creative process begins: developing repeat patterns, refining colours and compositions, and exploring variations. I also create designs entirely in Procreate, which opens up an additional creative direction – from clean, graphic illustrations to painterly digital artwork. This versatility means that whatever aesthetic your product calls for, I will find the right style to match.

My style: detail-loving, yet never cluttered. Dreamy, but with clear structure. Inspired by nature, rural life, Asian aesthetics, and classic pattern traditions in the spirit of William Morris.

I design for children’s textiles, fabrics with an unconventional, timeless character, and wallpapers with repeat patterns that bring a sense of calm and life to any room.

Alongside ready-made designs, I also take on custom commissions – whether bespoke patterns for a specific product line or individual illustrations tailored entirely to your vision.

In addition to my creative work, I bring a background in business administration and years of experience in sales and account management – which means you can count on structured workflows, on-time delivery, clear communication, and a collaboration that simply runs smoothly. I stand for honesty, quality, and long-term partnerships – no rushed results, only designs that truly fit you and your products.

All of my designs are also available for licensing – offering flexible usage options to suit your business needs.

Got a project in mind? I would love to hear from you – just drop me a message and let’s explore what we can create together.
